A third video allegedly showing in-development Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay has appeared online, adding fresh fuel to a leak storm that Rockstar Games is reportedly trying to contain. The footage, attributed to the group calling itself CyberLeek, shows Jason tearing through Vice City at night, fighting warehouse security, using a taser, and sharing a quiet beer with a friend on a fishing boat.

The timing makes the leak especially significant. Rockstar is preparing to show more of GTA VI publicly on August 27, 2026, while the game itself is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. ([rockstargames.com](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI?utm_source=openai))

Jason’s latest alleged outing is rough, physical, and surprisingly detailed

The new clip reportedly opens with Jason driving recklessly through Vice City after dark in a powerful muscle car. The sequence then shifts into a confrontation with security guards outside a warehouse, followed by a police encounter that gives viewers another look at the game’s close-quarters combat and law-enforcement responses.

Among the most eye-catching details are slow-motion takedown animations, the ability to smash vehicle windows, and what appears to be a key-cloning mechanic. Jason also uses a taser against his opponents, suggesting that GTA VI may offer more non-lethal options during certain encounters than previous entries in the series.

Those details should still be treated cautiously. The footage is not an official gameplay demonstration, and there is no confirmed information about when the build was captured. As with the earlier clips, unfinished animations, placeholder assets, or mechanics that have since been removed may be present.

From a warehouse brawl to a relaxed boat ride

The sequence ends with Jason climbing into a large lorry before cutting to a more peaceful scene on the water. In the apparent cutscene, he sits on the edge of a small fishing boat and shares a beer in the sunlight with a friend.

That contrast is familiar GTA territory: sudden violence followed by an oddly intimate slice of everyday life. It also reinforces the sense that Rockstar is once again building its open world around sharp tonal shifts, moving from chaotic crime missions to slower character moments without warning.

For fans, the boat scene may be just as interesting as the action. Rockstar has revealed Jason and Lucia as the central pair of GTA VI, but official material has so far shown only selected pieces of their relationship and criminal partnership. Unverified footage cannot fill in the story, though it may offer clues about the kinds of downtime and character-driven scenes Rockstar is designing around the duo.

CyberLeek’s campaign is becoming harder to separate from its crypto promotion

CyberLeek claims the leaks are intended to pressure Rockstar into releasing GTA VI on disc. Rockstar has not publicly responded to the group’s demands, although the removal of earlier uploads from hosting platforms has made the takedown campaign impossible to ignore.

The group has also reportedly threatened to release two to four more leaks. That promise has helped keep attention focused on CyberLeek, but the group’s decision to direct audiences toward cryptocurrency has complicated any attempt to frame the operation as a purely consumer-focused protest.

Consumer rights campaigners Stop Killing Games have urged people not to send money to those behind the leaks. That warning is important regardless of how authentic the footage turns out to be: a genuine grievance about preservation or physical ownership does not automatically make a crypto solicitation trustworthy.

There is also a more complicated reality behind the dispute over physical copies. Rockstar’s official support information confirms that GTA VI will receive a physical version, but says physical buyers will receive a download code for the game rather than a complete playable build on the disc. That distinction appears to be central to CyberLeek’s anger, even though the group’s methods have drawn criticism. Rockstar’s official reveal now carries even more weight

The leaks arrive shortly before Rockstar’s planned “Extended Look” presentation on August 27 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. That event is expected to provide the clearest official look yet at GTA VI, making the timing of the CyberLeek material feel deliberate rather than accidental. ([rockstargames.com](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI?utm_source=openai))

That does not mean every mechanic seen in the leaked clips will appear in the final game. Rockstar’s internal development footage can be months or even years old, and the company has plenty of time before the November 19 release date to revise missions, animations, interface elements, and systemic features.

Still, the apparent leaks have changed the conversation around GTA VI. Instead of waiting for Rockstar to control the next reveal, players are now dissecting unfinished footage frame by frame, debating what is real, what has changed, and whether the clips show meaningful evolution from Grand Theft Auto V or simply a more detailed version of the same formula.

For now, the safest conclusion is also the least dramatic: the footage appears credible enough to attract serious attention, but it is not a substitute for an official demonstration. With Rockstar’s next presentation only days away, the company may soon answer some of the questions the leaks have raised—on its own terms.
