Hot Toys is bringing Sam Porter Bridges into the Video Game Masterpiece lineup with a substantial new sixth-scale figure based on his appearance in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. At approximately 31cm tall, with more than 30 points of articulation and a highly configurable loadout, this release is designed less like a simple character figure and more like a miniature porter’s equipment system.
That distinction is what makes the announcement notable. Sam’s visual identity is built around layers of gear, cargo, harnesses, tools, and survival equipment. Hot Toys has leaned into that concept with magnetic attachments, interchangeable cargo, a retractable backpack, multiple weapon options, a functional-looking Battle Skeleton, and several distinct editions aimed at different levels of collector commitment.
As of September 12, 2026, Sideshow lists the Special Edition at $400 and the Deluxe Version Special Edition at $445, with estimated shipping windows extending from September through December 2026. A More Elaborate Sam Than a Standard Sixth-Scale Release
The foundation of the figure is a newly developed head sculpt intended to capture Norman Reedus’s likeness as Sam. Separate rolling eyeballs give collectors control over his gaze, a useful feature for a character who can be displayed in everything from a neutral traveling pose to a more focused combat stance. The Deluxe Version adds the opened Blood Boomerang, two rubber pizzas, a damaged cargo container, and the illuminated APAS 4000 diorama base. The pizzas are an amusing but worthwhile inclusion for fans who appreciate the game’s more eccentric references, while the damaged cargo and base provide more visual storytelling than the standard package.
The Special Edition adds a Death Stranding 2 metal collectible card with a display case and is only available in selected markets.
